Feather extensions

Right, I've never been a fan of hair extensions, it always annoyed me when people wore them with the clips showing or they were wearing the wrong hair colour (as in the extensions are a shade lighter/darker than their actual hair colour) and there is always those few that try and convince you that it's their actual hair, but, I have to say, I love these feather extensions!

They remind me of summer and "surfer chicks" which is probably one of my favourite looks, the whole long, blonde, wavy hair and the bikini and shorts style.

I also like them because you can get them in natural colours or multi-coloured. The ones I admire the most are the colours {1}cool mixed, {2}mixed natural, {3}warm mixed, {4}warm natural and {5}winter green.
{1}{2}{3}
{4}{5}
So ladies, if you want to give your hair a bit of colour without the bother of dying it, then I suggest you get these! A few websites that I know sell them are;
So why not have a look and give me your opinions on them!

Vegan Cupcakes

A while ago, I got addicted to an American Programme called Cupcake Wars, ever heard of it? I never even knew it existed until I came across it on the television and baking is like my religion! Anyway, one team that I became interested in was a lass called Chloe Coscarelli and she made vegan cupcakes and my god, she slaughtered the other competitors! A real cow that was going head to head in the final round was saying the likes of "Oh how can cupcakes be vegan, I'm definitely going to win" and she lost! If I was Chloe I would have torn down her cupcake display and kicked her, she was honestly horrible in my opinion this other lady! Anywho, some of you are probably thinking that vegan cupcakes sound horrible, but, well like I've just said, she won sooo they must have been good.
Most vegan food I have come across have always looked plain and dull but these cupcakes looked gorgeous! I mean, come on! Look at those! You just wouldn't think they were vegan but they are!
Sooo, has anyone attempted making vegan cupcakes? If so how did they turn out and if they went well, share us your wisdom!
Vegan cupcakes are the future!

Aspirer (in my opinion)

We all know who this darling is, she's been in around 60 films, including, Planet of the Apes, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, The Kings Speech, the latest Harry Potters and many other films, she's the mother of two and married to Tim Burton, that's right, it's Helena Bonham Carter
Helena was born in 1966 in London and the only female out of the Bonham siblings. She went to South Hampstead High School, to then later go to Westminister School but was turned down at King's College for they were afraid she would leave half way through the college years to carry on her acting career. Helena had never had any formal training in acting and in 1979, she won a writing contest, which she used the money she got from it to pay for her entry into Spotlight. Her first starring film role was in 1986, were she starred Lady Jane Grey in the film, Lady Jane. All the first films and episodes she played in led her to being a typecast as a "English Rose" and "Corset Queen".
In 2006, Bonham Carter launched her own fashion line "The Pantaloonies" with swimwear designer Samantha Sage. Their first collection was a Victorian style selection of camisole's, mop caps and bloomers, which they called, Bloomin' Bloomers. They are both now working on customised jeans, that Helena herself describes as "a kind of scrapbook on the bum".
Helena met Tim Burton during the filming of "Planet of the Apes", which, Burton became taken to casting Carter in many of his other films like Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Big Fish and Alice in Wonderland. They both live in London in two different houses, but with a connecting doorway as they felt that they couldn't live in the same house as each other. In October 2003, Helena gave birth to her first child, son Billy Ray Burton, and gave birth to her daughter Nell in December 2007. Johnny Depp is a good friend of the family, whom is the godfather of both Billy Ray and Nell. Depp is also in many of Tim Burton's films.
I personally think that Helena is an inspiration to those who follow the latest fashion style and try to be liked by others through their appearance because Helena is known to wear quite quirky outfits to awards, film premiers and just in general and does she change the way she looks for other people? Hell nooo! I honestly love her style, but you see people write stuff or make articles on bad outfits and she's in it and I just think "At least she doesn't follow the herd of sheep" and "Good on you". In my opinion I just think she can pull off any style she goes for no matter how strange or simple it is, and, the fact there is only a few well known celebrities that are like this, I appalled them. She is admired for miles around for her acting skills but I just find her a complete inspiration because I think if people started being like her, and not caring what other people think about the way they look, then the world would be such a different place, perhaps in a bad way or a good, I think more of a good way because people would get used to all the different outfits and perhaps start judging people on their personality and not their looks. It's a fact that everyone has been part of the "sheep herd", I, myself, am guilty for it, but as I started at college, I started to realise that I shouldn't be worried about what people think about me, I mean, secondary school helped us start to think like that because we all wore uniforms, but that was like the kicking start to just treating everyone equal and getting to know people first before we guessed by their appearance, so, for all those who are trying to please others, be yourself, and if others don't like it, then tell them to jog on!

Fruit go or Fruit no?

Well, I was just looking on an fashion article on the internet, and apparently, fruit jewellery is the next big
thing for this springs fashion.

In my opinion, I think they're pretty cute and can be worn with any flowerly outfit

This gorgeous Miu Miu green apple bangle is from net-a-porter.com for £160, yes, it's a little expensive but it's inspirational for making your own fruit fashion accessories
With this bangle, I'm thinking a cute floral dress with some wedges and a flower hair clip

However, if you're not the creative type, you don't need to spend a lot on a piece of jewellery, this adorable Antique gold apple locket necklace is from jijikiki.com for only £10!

For this necklace, I think, some high waisted shorts, a tiger print blouse (£38 from miss selfridge) and some red or black peep toe shoes

So ladies, start looking and give me your opinion on the fruity jewels!

Oooh one thing

Just before I properly start this blog, I don't take any crap from people that say the likes of "Oooh, this blog is shit", "Stop trying to be someone you're not" and so and so forth. I don't mind comments like "I like your blog, but I think you could improve on/ add/ do less of.." and stuff like that, but blunt comments "It's shit", can seriously be shoved where the sun don't shine, because, I am sick to death of people putting me down and making me feel like nothing.

The last time that happened, it had completely put me off my future career because I thought I was actually that shit at what I wanted to do, and, for christ sakes they were only like young emo teenagers, they didn't even get the bloody concept of trying to do something out their comfort zone to achieve something, all they probably did was moan about how much they hated their life because their parents wouldn't get them tickets to some concert or the latest ipod or some shit like that. So that's literally how much some stupid comment effects me.

So, to any stupid comments like that, excuse the language, but piss off and get a life instead of going around blogs and such, trying to make people feel like shite and thinking that you're Lady Muck, because, honestly, you're not.

Sooo, now that's out the way and I hope I have made it clear, if you hate my blog that much, then piss off!

Hope everyone else enjoys me blog! ^-^

Hello (Please excuse bad grammar or spelling mistakes)

Well, my name is Katie (If you didn't already know from my "About me" section) and, well, what can I say, I wanted something to do in my spare time, and also, I came across a few fashion blogs and I have to say, they were pretty awesome, but, they were all about vintage clothing and accessories and i thought to myself "What about everyone else?"
Yes, I must admit, I am a fan of vintage, but, it's started to get repetitive, specially now it's come into fashion, so, I thought, I would make my own fashion blog for those who don't like vintage as much as others. Yes, this blog will include a few vintage clothing pieces, but, I am going to include clothing and accessories from other styles, so atleast people who hate vintage can look at something on my blog and go "Oooh, actually, I kinda like that", and I want people to comment on my blog and give me feedback on what's good and what isn't so it can appeal more to everyone, so, basically, everyone is a winner (:

I hope this blog gets far, but, like I said, it's something to do in my spare time (that isn't coursework) so if viewers don't see eye to eye with some of the posts I put on here, then it isn't the end of the world.

But, for those who follw "Little Miss" or come across it, then, enjoy! (:
